A story from my past:
I have always found balance to be vital for my wellbeing, when an important area of my life is being neglected it will gradually trickle over and cause a bigger spill. A couple of years back, my team had doubled in size, I was working much longer hours and my physical activity was the area to suffer. One day I decided to take my one-to-one meetings outside to incorporate some form of physical activity into my working week. I instantly observed the benefits and so did my team, the conversations felt a lot more at ease, they were more solution orientated, more creative, we left the conversation feeling better while getting our steps up. Weather dependent I integrated outdoor coaching into my weekly schedule, I was hooked.
